The Fountain of Life Children’s Center has been the primary
target charity for the Jesters Care for Kids Charity Drive since
1998 and has since grown into a major project.
Every year since then, the Jesters Children's
Fair (September 9th, 2007) and the Charity fundraising Pub Night
(September 15th, 2007) are main attractions in Pattaya.
Sponsorships are gathered through organized fair
attractions, auctions, bike rides, raffles, pub nights, plain
goodwill sponsorships, and so much more.
This year
sees the 10th Annual Kids Fair, held consecutively for the 6th
time at the Diana Garden Resort & Driving, North Pattaya from
10am to 6pm on the 9th September 2007.
There’s
something for everyone at the Fair, including competitions for
the kids, shows and entertainment courtesy of local schools, clowns,
a circus workshop, face painting, live music, arts & crafts,
Thai and European food stalls and the beer stall (which sells
beer donated by various entities, including bars, restaurants,
businesses and individuals).
In addition to all this there is the popular Children’s
Raffle, consisting of donated prizes ranging from mountain bikes
and printers to DVD players and TVs.
Children
with opportunities are children with a future
The Fair
is always a huge success and proceeds increase each year due to
the charitable businesses and individuals, of whom without, the
Fair would simply not exist.
The Fountain
of Life has benefited from the excellent work done by the Jesters
Charity Drive committee and Chairman, Lewis ‘Woody’
Underwood and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone
who has, throughout the history of the Jesters Charity Drive,
contributed in someway in helping the children receive the start
in life they so deserve.
